First-Line Social Services
Haninge Municipality is adapting to future social services and has therefore established a first-line social service. Here we've brought together early and preventive advice and support services with the goal of offering municipal residents help at an early stage so that serious problems can be prevented. We will be close to our residents and it will become easier to contact social services. As part of establishing the first-line social service, we have a shared reception for children and youth as well as for adults.
Your Assignment
As a social worker in the reception for children, youth, and adults, your main task is to receive and assess incoming reports of concern and applications concerning children and youth as well as adults. The assignment also includes providing advice and offering consultation to parents, relatives, and people who have concerns about children and adults in their surroundings.
The team uses Signs of Safety as our working method. The assignment includes collaboration with internal and external partners as well as treating our citizens with professionalism and respect.
We're looking for someone who is trained as a social worker with many years of knowledge and experience in child and youth authority work, and we'd like to see that you also have experience in adult authority work. We're looking for someone who wants to develop and also contribute your knowledge and commitment. Here you'll have the conditions to make a good contribution together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues for Haninge's children and their parents as well as for adults. We are the face of social services to the public and work actively so that all citizens receive the right support at the right time.
Here's What We're Looking For in You
- Social work degree
- Many years of experience working in child and youth authority work within social services
- Experience and ability to conduct acute assessments and together with colleagues and team leaders plan and manage acute interventions
- Knowledge and experience with BBIC
- Knowledge and ability to document correctly and with legal security, and you have good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish
- Knowledge and experience with Signs of Safety
Experience working with adults with dependency issues is a merit.

- The assignment involves working with acute situations, which requires that you are flexible and can organize, set boundaries, and prioritize in your work tasks
- You are stress-resistant and have the ability to handle acute situations
- Used to having many contact points
- Able to work independently based on existing routines and guidelines
- Be trustworthy and have good collaboration skills
- Attentive and clear in your communication
- Skilled at creating good relationships

What We Can Offer You
We can offer you a workplace with good structure, routines, and colleagues who are experienced, pleasant, and engaged. The team consists of 12 social workers, one team leader, two administrative assistants, and one unit manager. The team has supervision.
We're located in bright, pleasant office spaces with proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, natural areas with swimming, skiing and running trails, and Handen commuter train station.
