The Adult Services Department consists of 33 committed employees who work together to provide the municipality's residents with the right support at the right time. We are now seeking a social secretary for the LSS and social psychiatry team on a temporary basis until fall 2027, where you will become part of a knowledgeable work group with seven colleagues and an engaged group manager.

WORK TASKS
As a social secretary, you will work with investigations, assessments, and decisions on interventions primarily according to the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS) but also the Social Services Act (SoL). You will also follow up and review granted interventions in our structured goal-oriented work when needed. You will have contact with service users and their relatives and work closely with the group manager, other social secretaries within the group, and others in the department and social administration.
You will work with children, youth, and adults within the target group. Persons with, among others, intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury in adulthood, physical disabilities, and psychiatric disabilities. Many individuals have multiple disabilities and comorbidities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• Have a degree in social work or equivalent education that we assess as equivalent.
• Experience with public authority exercise
• Have very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is meritious if you have:
• Experience with public authority exercise in social psychiatry and LSS.
• Worked in the Treserva system.
• Worked in IBIC.
We are looking for someone who works systematically and prioritizes your work well. You are considerate and demonstrate good collaboration skills with a pragmatic focus on the organization's common goals. You need to be able to work independently and drive development issues in the field. You are stable and handle stressful situations constructively. Furthermore, you have social skills and find it easy to create relationships with different people with professional conduct in focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that you fit well into the group. Salary form: Monthly salary.
