Do you want to make a difference for the city's children, young people, and young adults? Welcome with your application to the Crime Team!
About the Workplace
In the city, the Social Services Administration is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so they can take an active part in society.
We have undergone an exciting organizational change focused on creating a more accessible social service based on three main areas: authority, services and support, and housing.
The entire Social Services Administration is currently undertaking a comprehensive initiative on Signs of Safety and creating a shared approach throughout the organization with a clear focus on transparency, high participation, and creating sustainable solutions together with the individual and their network.
Within the authority operations area at the unit for reception and preventive support, the Crime Team is located. With us, you will experience a workplace where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to grow through challenges by leading yourself and influencing and helping our children, young people, and young adults in the right direction.
Job Responsibilities
The Crime Team works with authority functions for the target group of children, young people, and young adults who have committed, are suspected of, been victims of, or reoffended in crimes, as well as those at risk of criminality or substance abuse.
The Crime Team has a broad mandate that includes varying work tasks related to the target group. The Crime Team is fundamentally a reception function and handles preliminary assessments regarding concerns related to criminality, substance abuse, and norm-breaking behavior.
The Crime Team has offices at both the Social Services Administration and the Police Station in Helsingborg. The offices are staffed according to a rotating schedule and work tasks vary depending on where the social secretary is based. At the Police Station, social secretaries work together with police youth investigators and area police officers.
We also have administrative responsibility that includes advice and support, participation in regular meetings with relevant parties, information dissemination, and activity planning. The work further consists of informing and consulting about, among other things, the social service's work and reporting obligations. Business development is a natural part of the work.
What We Offer
As an employee with us, you will have an operations-focused manager and engaged colleagues who can support and introduce you to the work and organization, as well as access to legal experts and other support functions. Benefits you can enjoy include flexible working hours, 3000 kr per year in wellness benefits, vacation exchange, and reduced working hours in the summer. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious.

To be qualified for this position, you need to have:
A degree in social work (socionomexamen)
