We are now seeking a social worker for the Reception Team in the Support Services unit. Your New Position As a social worker at the support reception office, your work tasks consist of: Providing information and advice to applicants regarding support services Conducting preliminary assessments and investigating eligibility for individuals applying for support Receiving and handling external transfers from other social services offices Conducting initial investigations during new visits Handling on-call matters for non-active individuals through visits or phone Collaborating and cooperating with both external and internal partners In our work toward the goal of individuals achieving self-sufficiency, we start from each individual's circumstances. The investigation time at the reception varies depending on the citizen's situation before we hand over to those working more specifically with the process toward self-sufficiency. Work at the reception is varied as we encounter different forms of social issues and also developing as you get to support people in vulnerable situations. No two workdays are alike! Your Qualifications We are seeking you with a degree in social work. It is meritorious if you have experience with: handling financial assistance worked with MIX have MI training have knowledge and experience with the Combine system As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are flexible and curious. You are used to working at a fast pace and are interested in and capable of motivating and supporting people in processes that lead to self-sufficiency. Furthermore, you can prioritize and structure your work efficiently and are clear in your communication. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position. We work with MI as the path to self-sufficiency. We use the MIX investigation template, which you will receive training in if it is new to you. We are now located in new and fresh premises at Slottsgatan 5 in central Jönköping. Good to Know The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position with start date by mutual agreement. This position is job evaluated and the social worker position is found in base group F.
