JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a social worker, you will work with individuals' overall situations, from finances to motivation and change work. You investigate eligibility for financial assistance by meeting with clients, developing action plans, and following up on interventions. You meet each individual with dignity and respect, with the aim of strengthening their own capabilities. The work is dynamic and varied, consisting of both individual conversations and group work, and sometimes visits to places relevant to each client's work, such as internship placements. An important part of the work is collaboration and cooperation with other parties, both within the social administration, other municipal operations, and with external actors such as the Employment Service and the Social Insurance Agency.
To effectively work with individuals' overall situations with a clear focus on change that leads to sustainable income solutions, we have organized our assignment so that we work in pairs of two social workers. The ambition is to have high availability for our clients, dedicate significant time to motivation and change work, and best utilize each employee's competencies.

For this position, we are seeking someone with a degree in a behavioral science discipline, a degree in social work, or other relevant education for the assignment. You have experience working in the field of financial assistance and preferably knowledge and experience in municipal labor market work. If you have knowledge in conversation methods, that is also an advantage. In the role, you need a B-class driving license and good computer skills, as well as the ability to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
As a person, you are engaged and enjoy working in a team while independently driving the work forward. You need to easily adapt to changing circumstances and sometimes high pace. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are responsive in your contact with others and have a natural ability to understand others' perspectives and situations without losing your professional integrity. You have a positive view of people and focus on the individual's own resources. Through your coaching approach, you promote collaboration for increased independence.
