We are now seeking two (one one-year fixed-term contract and one permanent position) dedicated social workers who want to take on an important mission. At Family Law Südost, you'll have the opportunity to work with complex family law issues in an environment where the child rights perspective guides everything we do. We are one of Stockholm's 11 district administrations and have our office in the Slakthusområdet area, near Globen. The Department of Individuals and Families consists of four areas, one of which is Children and Youth – Reception, Investigation, and Family Law Südost. The area is responsible for offering support and services to children, young people, and their families through several specialized units. We offer A well-planned introduction with a mentor. External supervision. Your role Family Law Südost is responsible for family law work for the districts of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör, Farsta, and Skarpnäck. Family Law operates based on the Parental Code and the Social Services Act by supporting individuals and other authorities in family law matters such as: Lead cooperation meetings with parents regarding questions about custody, residence, and/or visitation of their children Custody, residence, and visitation investigations on behalf of the court Implement visitation with visitation support on behalf of the court Consent investigations and adoption investigations Investigate and establish paternity/parenthood. With the large catchment area comes the fact that we are a large family law unit with 19 employees, of which 16 are social workers, one administrator, and two unit managers. You work in close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues in a team where reflection and shared development are a natural part of daily work. Family Law has the task of, with the child's best interests in focus, investigating and supporting children and parents in family law matters, such as custody, residence, and visitation investigations, visitation support, adoption, and parenthood investigations. A large part of the mission involves leading cooperation meetings both under the Social Services Act and on behalf of the court. We offer group activities "My Parents Are Divorced" and "Children in Parents' Focus" (BIFF) for separated parents. For our visitation support cases, we have a child-friendly premises and experienced visitation support staff as providers. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who (requirements): Have a valid degree in social work. Have previous experience with family law work or within child and youth authority. Have a strong child rights perspective and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. Meritorious is experience leading group activities such as BIFF, My Parents Are Divorced.
