JOB DUTIES As a social worker, your main task is to meet people where they are and motivate and support them in managing their own livelihood. We work from each person's own resources and conditions. You independently investigate, assess, and decide on the right to economic assistance, which is financial help to maintain a reasonable standard of living. Work may also include preventing and investigating incorrect payments (FUT). You also have regular contact with clients and with internal and external partners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or a bachelor's degree in social work with at least 7.5 credits in social law. You need a Class B driver's license for manual transmission as travel is part of the job. We also see that you have good computer skills and good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. For this position, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), and the social security system. We consider it desirable that you have experience working with economic assistance or other public authority duties. We would also like to see that you have experience with the Treserva management system, training in motivational interviewing (MI), and experience in preventing incorrect payments (FUT). To succeed in the role, it is important that you can collaborate and communicate with other people in a responsive and flexible way. You like to share your knowledge and experience but can also listen to others' perspectives. Much of the work involves working with other agencies to find the right measure for the client that leads to self-sufficiency. To thrive in the role, you need to be calm and stable and maintain control even when the pace is high at times. You need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances because our legislation and society constantly change. You have an unpretentious approach and can handle and prioritize tasks when needed.
