You will work in a team with child and family case workers and will be supervised by a senior social secretary. As a child and family case worker in Laxå Municipality, you will work with all aspects of social services. You will, among other things, conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act and LVU (Care of Young Persons Act), work with family law and foster care matters, and follow up on interventions. This makes the work both stimulating and varied. By working with all aspects of social services, you will have a broad and developmental role where no two days are alike. The variation in the assignment gives you good opportunities to get to know the children, young people, and families you meet in depth, build trusting relationships, and create sustainable alliances. The close work with clients, combined with the opportunity to follow cases over time, contributes to meaningful work where you can clearly see the effect of your commitment. We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience working as a case worker within the child and family field. You express yourself well in speech and writing, have a class B driver's license, and have good documentation habits. Experience with the Procapita case management system is an asset. An extract from the criminal record register and a social work degree must be presented upon employment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection is ongoing.
