Individual & Family Services at Värnamo Municipality is part of the Citizens' Administration, where we work within various types of authority operations, open care, HVB facilities, as well as employment, integration, and leisure activities.
In the Employment and Social Support section, 12 social workers, 11 coordinators, 2 social workers specializing in domestic violence, 2 group leaders, and 1 unit manager work together. We are seeking someone interested in working with social support and collaborating with coordinators to help our clients achieve financial independence.
Job Responsibilities
Work with social support involves collaborating in a team with coordinators. You will actively work to help those seeking social support achieve financial independence. The role includes qualified investigative work characterized by good service, well-founded decisions, and high legal security, as well as conducting active follow-up work on cases. The work also includes providing advice and support to residents and maintaining close collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education. Experience in this professional field is a merit.
We believe that you have knowledge of and interest in economic assistance and social work. You communicate clearly and have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
