The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health care in the home, individual and family care (IFO), and care and residential facilities. IFO is responsible for the following operations: support for children, youth, and their families; support for adults; financial assistance/economic support; and labor market initiatives and reception of newly arrived migrants. We are now seeking staff for our IFO operation in the area of children and youth. Here you will be part of a dedicated team that continues to develop Ulricehamns social services. Our operation works to develop preventive efforts and early interventions. Our goal is for children and families to receive support in their home environment as much as possible and for all children to succeed in school. Families, children, and young people who seek support should receive it as soon as possible. Innovative thinking and creativity are rewarded. WORK TASKS Working as a social secretary with children and youth is a varied and exciting job where you have the opportunity to participate in and create a change process and make a difference for children and youth. You are responsible for investigating reports and applications, making decisions, and following up measures according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act. The target group is children and youth aged 0-21 years. In your role, you work with assessments, decisions, and considerations where the case handling is based on systemic theoretical assumptions. Cooperation takes place continuously with schools, child health clinics, police, and others. Your case handling is based on BBIC in the Treserva system. We have a strong focus on children's participation in care and are constantly working to give children a voice. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is educated as a social worker or has another relevant degree at least at bachelor's level in higher education. It is a merit if you have experience with similar tasks and knowledge of systems theory. In this work, it is important that you can express yourself well orally and in writing, and that you adapt your communication to the situation and target group. As a person, you are confident and in stressful situations you maintain calm, are patient, and focus on the right things. You can adapt to changing circumstances, work well in collaboration with others, and have the ability to work independently. You demonstrate good judgment and a positive view of people with respectful treatment. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
