Business Description As a social worker, you are part of the Assistance Unit's official authority function, which should be beneficial for Gällivare and easy to collaborate with. The Adult Authority Section consists of three areas, of which social psychiatry authority is one. The target group for social psychiatry is from 18 years of age and is directed toward individuals who have a mental disability causing significant difficulties in daily life and have a long-term need for support. We are in a phase where we shall develop, evolve, and think in new ways. This means we shall implement the intentions of the Social Services Act (SoL), which includes being preventative, easily accessible, and operating with a knowledge-based approach. We shall respect people's self-determination and integrity. By creating equal and fair conditions, the authority contributes to social and economic sustainability. Work Duties As a social worker, you receive applications, gather documentation for investigations, make decisions, and follow up on all ongoing decisions. You must be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing to investigate, document, and maintain records. We use the business system Pulsen Combine for all documentation. You also need to be able to plan your daily work independently and find structure in your day, together with the team. The work duties also include cross-sectoral collaboration with your manager, colleagues, other departments, municipalities, and other authorities. Qualifications The role requires: A degree in social work or other equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Class B driver's license Personal Qualities You who apply for this position with us need to be a person who is engaged and willing to take responsibility for the work duties. Working Time/Duration Full-time, permanent position. The Assistance Unit has reduced working hours, and the weekly working time is 35.92 hours/week. The position includes on-call duty.
