Within the department, there is also guidance and support for adults' individual development toward self-sufficiency. The department is responsible for integration and also coordinates labor market policy measures. About the Role Individual and Family Services (IFO) is part of the Learning and Work department. One of the department's most important tasks is to continue creating positive effects from our collaboration for those we serve and to provide conditions for a safe and independent life. Individual and Family Services (IFO) primarily works with applications and reports concerning children, families, and adults. IFO's responsibilities also include implementing and monitoring interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Care of Young People (LVU), and the Act on Care of Abusers of Drugs Etc. (LVM). Individual and Family Services now has an open-ended position available for a social secretary with a focus on harmful substance use and addiction, violence, and housing social contracts. IFO has an Adult Group, a Children's Group, and a shared Open Care unit that handles family treatment and addiction treatment. The Adult Group consists of three employees and has a case supervisor connected to the group who provides support and guidance in daily work. As a new social secretary with us, you will also have a colleague as a mentor during the initial period. Key Responsibilities The Adult Group handles public authority functions concerning harmful substance use and addiction, violence, and housing social contracts. We are seeking someone who wants to work with people in difficult life situations and who has knowledge and experience with the types of cases this position focuses on. Your responsibilities will include: Internal collaboration within the department as well as external collaboration with, for example, the Region. Meetings with individuals aged 18 and older Contact and collaboration with relatives Deciding on interventions based on the individual's needs Following up on implemented interventions and ensuring they meet the individual's needs Qualifications You are a social worker (socionom), and preferably have experience working in the Adult Group's area. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation. You should also be comfortable documenting and expressing yourself well in speech and writing. It is important in this work that you are organized and flexible. You are solution-focused and have good collaboration skills both within and outside your own unit.
