Description Would you like to work as a social services secretary at Functional Support in Southwest, an urban area at the forefront with a driven team and competent colleagues? At Functional Support in Southwest, there are currently four units focused on children and young adults, adults with LSS services, adults with Social Services Act/intake, and psychiatry. The four units are co-located in pleasant and spacious facilities at Järnbrotts Prästväg 2. In total, approximately 60 social services secretaries, 11 senior social services secretaries, and four unit managers work across Southwest. Functional Support Southwest is responsible for handling approximately 2,000 functional support cases. We are now seeking a permanent position as a social services secretary for our Social Services Act unit. If you are interested in this position on the Social Services Act unit, you will investigate Social Services Act services for people over 21 years old. This mainly involves home care services, but you will also investigate short-term housing, supported social housing, and some housing support. The Social Services Act unit consists of eight social services secretaries and two senior social services secretaries and is part of the Social Services Act and Intake Unit. This work suits you if you enjoy working in somewhat faster-paced processes. The assignment involves exercising public authority, which requires both responsibility and humility toward the decisions we make. The assignment may change over time if needs arise or if circumstances change. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is educated as a social worker or has other higher education that the employer considers equivalent. Since the position includes administrative work and issuing documents such as professional opinions, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are familiar with case processing according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. Experience with exercising public authority through investigations, assessments, and implementation of decisions, as well as experience with documentation in the systems IBIC/Treserva/SAMSA, is seen as a merit for the position.
