The position involves shared work tasks, where 50 percent of your working time is allocated to Social Emergency Service South and the remaining part within other activities in Individual and Family Services. You may, among other things, work with network meetings and follow-up conversations after child interviews. Social Emergency Service South consists of 9 cooperating municipalities; Vellinge, Trelleborg, Lomma, Svedala, Skurup, Ystad, Sjöbo, Tomelilla and Simrishamn. The work team consists of 4 employees, of which three work 80% with only emergency service work and one with a combined position, plus an operations manager. We are all social workers with extensive experience in social work and are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague. At Social Emergency Service South we work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays, that is, when regular social services are closed. We work according to a 4-week rotating schedule and are on duty every other weekend. Working time includes both scheduled time and on-call time. Your workplace is in Vellinge with the possibility to work from home. There are always 2 people on duty/on-call during emergency shifts. Other part-time work involves daytime work on-site. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a social secretary at Individual and Family Services, your main work tasks are to work with case management and documentation in acute matters according to the Social Services Act at Social Emergency Service South as well as to provide reinforcement to other units. A broad range of social issues are referred to Social Emergency Service, which is why you need good knowledge of other social actors' areas of responsibility in order to provide correct referrals when needed. You work independently and have a high degree of delegation. In parallel with emergency service work, you should also actively work with operations development to drive Social Emergency Service South forward. Your tasks include keeping yourself updated on legislative changes, new recommendations and methods relevant to social emergency service work. QUALIFICATIONS You have a degree in social work with several years of experience in social work and are experienced in exercising authority within various areas of social services. You have several years of experience with authority work in child and family matters as well as harmful use and addiction. You have good knowledge of current legislation and are accustomed to applying it in practical work. You have extensive experience and knowledge of applying coercive legislation when situations require it. Since the position also involves holding meetings and conversations with children, parents and other networks, it is important that you are responsive and have experience meeting people in crisis. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. It is advantageous to speak other languages. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and solution-focused. You are responsive and respectful and have faith in people's own abilities. You are a secure and stable person who, even in more stressful situations, maintains composure and focus. You see yourself as a fearless and thorough decision-maker who can analyze acute situations and remain calm when situations demand it. Also that you live within a geographical area to meet the requirement for response time for acute field work. Experience is required. Driver's license category B and access to your own car is required. You need to live within a reasonable geographical area due to response time requirements.
