The Care and Social Services Administration is seeking a substitute social secretary for income support in Strömsund. Individual and Family Services within the Social Services Administration has its workplace in Strömsund. About 40 people work there within child and family services, income support (financial assistance), family law, adult services, and outpatient care. The strength of the work team is short decision paths and flexibility, and we base our work on everyone helping each other. Therefore, we highly value collaboration and cooperation. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a social secretary in income support, you work with two parallel processes. • You investigate, assess, and decide on financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. • You investigate the individual's resources for self-support together with the individual and in cooperation with other relevant parties such as healthcare, the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and internally within Individual and Family Services and the municipality's various operations. The work is client-focused and involves regular motivation and change work. The handling involves qualified investigation work and individual assessments that include finances, law, and a comprehensive assessment of the individual's situation. You will have both new cases and ongoing matters and work independently on your cases but with close support from colleagues and your manager. In your role as a social secretary, you are confident in your professional role and can meet people in need of social services support and assistance in a clear and trustworthy manner. We are looking for someone who: • Can express yourself well in speech and writing • Has good knowledge of relevant legislation • Has experience with public authority work within social services, particularly regarding financial assistance, and can work independently within the framework of public authority work • Is humble, motivating, and clear in your approach • You find it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and the organization's cooperation partners • Has good digital skills and experience with the Lifecare case management system A driver's license category B is required to perform all work tasks.
