About the Assignment We are seeking a social worker for our client, a municipality in northern Stockholm, for a consulting assignment within financial assistance. The assignment starts September 3, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2026. The employment level is 100%. The assignment is performed on-site at the municipality and remote work is not possible. You will therefore need to be on-site throughout the entire assignment period. Your Responsibilities As a social worker in financial assistance, you will work with government administration and be responsible for investigating and assessing eligibility for financial assistance. You will, among other things: - Investigate and process applications for financial assistance. - Investigate and assess the individual's eligibility for financial assistance. - Make decisions in accordance with applicable legislation and delegation. - Document cases in a legally secure and structured manner. - Maintain contact with the individual through visits, phone calls, and written communication. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Work independently based on the organization's procedures and guidelines. The operating system used is Combine, and it is a requirement that you have experience with the system to be self-sufficient from the start. Your Qualifications - Degree in social work. - At least three years of experience in government administration within financial assistance. - Experience with independent case handling work within financial assistance. - Experience with the Combine operating system. - Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and other relevant legislation. - Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. - Ability to work independently and quickly familiarize yourself with new organizations. - Ability to work on-site at the municipality throughout the entire assignment period. - Ability to start the assignment on September 3, 2026 and work 100% through December 31, 2026.
