Within the department there is also guidance and support for adults' individual development toward self-sufficiency. The department is responsible for integration and also coordinates labor market policy measures. Description Individual and Family Services (IFO) is part of the Learning and Work department, together with Individuals and Development, Adult Education, and the municipality's Learning Center. IFO is responsible for authority functions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), LVU, and LVM for children and adults, and also offers open care and open support. A total of approximately 30 people work within the operation. Our common goal is to create positive results for those we serve. We are expanding our staffing and are therefore seeking a new colleague for our children's team. IFO is divided into a Children's Team, an Adults' Team, and a shared Open Care with focus on family and addiction treatment, as well as parental support and youth counselor services. The Children's Team now consists, with this expansion, of 14 employees, two of whom have intake functions. Two case managers provide support in daily work, and new social workers receive a mentor at the start. We work with a family-oriented and solution-focused approach. Responsibilities As a social worker, you are responsible for: Authority functions for children and youth Investigating children's needs, following up on open care services and placements When needed, recruitment, investigation, and supervision of contractors may also be part of the work. Qualifications We seek someone with a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have training in Signs of Safety and/or BBIC. We prefer that you have experience working in child care or other authority functions. The department's various operations work closely together, which is an important success factor. Therefore, we see that you work well with other people through a responsive and communicative approach. You take responsibility for your task and plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently to meet deadlines. We see that you adapt easily to changed circumstances, as the role can involve rapid changes. It is important that you act in accordance with decisions made and can remain calm in more stressful situations. The position requires good ability to express yourself orally and in writing.
