Choose the assignment that suits you We are recruiting for several areas of our authority. In your application, indicate which assignment(s) you are most interested in. Investigator 0–13 years I want to give children a safer start in life. You investigate children's need for protection and support according to SoL and LVU. Through conversations, documentation, and professional assessments, you create a comprehensive picture and find sustainable paths forward together with the child, family, and network. Investigator 13–24 years I want to make a difference for young people. You meet young people and young adults with different experiences and challenges. Together with the young person, family, and network, you investigate needs, make assessments, and make decisions that can create change over time. Case Handler 0–24 years I want to follow the change all the way. You coordinate and follow up on approved services and ensure that the support meets the child's or young person's needs. You keep the planning together and are a trusted contact throughout the change process. Child Secretary I want to be the child's voice throughout the placement. You follow up on placed children and young people and are responsible for handling according to SoL and LVU. You build a strong relationship with the child, ensure participation, and collaborate with foster families, guardians, and other important actors. Foster Family Secretary I want to create secure and sustainable foster families. You recruit, investigate, educate, and mentor foster families. Through support and qualified guidance, you create conditions for secure, stable, and long-term sustainable placements. Social Secretary – Harmful Use and Addiction I believe in people's ability to change. You investigate needs, make decisions, and follow up on services for adults with harmful substance use or addiction. With respect, clarity, and hope, you create a path toward greater independence together with the individual and other actors. Social Secretary – Economic Assistance I want to create paths to self-sufficiency. You investigate the right to economic assistance and make decisions according to current legislation. Together with the individual, you work toward self-sufficiency and increased independence, with the child perspective as an important part of the assignment. Common to all assignments Regardless of role, you are responsible for legally secure case handling, documentation, and decisions. You make individual assessments, follow up on your work, and collaborate internally and externally – always with the individual's needs, participation, and rights in focus. Who are we looking for? We are looking for both you with experience and you who are new to the profession. What matters is that you want to develop, take responsibility, and contribute to professional and generous collaboration. You have: a degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written good digital competence and ability to document in a structured and legally secure manner. For authority work with children and young people, the education must meet the assignment's eligibility requirements. Relevant experience, knowledge of current methods, and familiarity with the Lifecare system are merits depending on the assignment you apply for. A driver's license is also a merit. As a person, you are confident, attentive, and organized. You can analyze complex information, make sound judgments, and stand firmly in your professional opinion. You collaborate unpretentiously and build trusting relationships. Upon offer of employment, you may need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record according to applicable legislation.
