WORK TASKS
Here we work together in a team with the entire case handling process from when an investigation begins to decision and follow-up of services. The work includes investigations according to applicable legislation, where the child's best interest is always at the center. This means mapping needs, compiling decision documentation, making decisions, and following up on services both in outpatient care and in placements in residential facilities, supported housing, or foster homes. You will encounter both short, acute cases and long-term processes where the need for security and support is more extensive.
As a social secretary with us, you meet children and young people, their families, and networks at different stages of life. You collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, other authorities, and colleagues to find sustainable solutions. The role also includes documentation, statements to other authorities, and active participation in our joint quality and method development.
We offer a work environment where you get both independence and strong collegial support. You have great freedom to plan and structure your workday while being part of a team with engaged colleagues, management, and a unit manager close at hand. Our focus is on lawfulness, children's participation, and professional conduct—values that permeate the entire unit.
