1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Torsby Municipality is seeking a social secretary with a focus on children and families. The social secretary will work with authority functions, with the main responsibilities being to handle child welfare cases ages 0-20 according to the Social Services Act (Sol) and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (LVU), as well as other relevant legislation. The work team currently consists of 8 social secretaries, one social secretary with coordination responsibility, and one IFO manager. The work team is divided into an Investigation Group that includes reception services for children and youth, and an Implementation Group. We are currently primarily seeking a social secretary who works with investigations for children and youth, as well as handling incoming concern reports and applications for children and youth. You will work in a team that values the people we serve as well as one another as colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably with prior experience in authority functions within the field of children and youth. You are organized and flexible in your work and can be proactive in collaboration with other authorities. You have the ability to work well with others in a team, are humble, can make decisions, and have a humanistic view of people that means you believe in the equal value of all people and in people's own ability to develop their own resources. You must have good knowledge of current legislation and must be able to independently plan and organize your work effectively and work flexibly under your own responsibility. You must be able to express yourself clearly and simply in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is required as the work involves travel on duty. We consider it a merit if you have knowledge of investigation methods and assessment instruments such as BBIC, Signs of Safety, as well as experience working in the Lifecare case management system. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Start as soon as possible or by agreement. Working hours: Daytime hours.
