We hope you will enjoy working with us! About the workplace Work as a social worker involves reviewing applications for financial assistance through administrative authority. You also work with clients in their change process toward the goal of self-sufficiency. In our employment department, we have successful close collaboration between social workers and employment consultants, which enables clients to become self-sufficient. Also successful external work together with the Swedish Public Employment Service and Komvux at our Job Center. We have also created an Activity Center, a service that provides complementary services to our clients based on new legislation with upcoming activity requirements. You receive close support from three experienced senior social workers who are available in daily work. To create good conditions for social workers' core mission, we have also strengthened the operation with four social administrators who relieve administrative work. We work at fixed office spaces and sit in the same building as employment consultants at AME, which contributes to close cooperation and good opportunities for knowledge exchange. As an employee with us, you are offered external process supervision, the opportunity to work remotely one day per week, and flexible hours to help balance work and private life. Additionally, the office closes at 3:00 PM on Fridays. Job responsibilities Investigate and support clients' path to self-sufficiency Investigate eligibility for financial assistance Document and follow up on established planning Collaborate internally and externally Actively contribute to your own, your work group's, and your unit's development You will receive regular support from your senior social worker Who we're looking for You are motivated and relationship-building in helping people toward self-sufficiency. You are self-directed and driven, which you demonstrate by following up on clients' planning. You are structured, which you demonstrate through clear and timely documentation, organizing and prioritizing work efficiently. You are persistent, stable, and have high integrity, which you demonstrate when setting requirements for clients and handling the ability to deny assistance if the client is not eligible. You take initiative in collaboration and have a solution-focused approach to achieve the best results for the client. We place great importance on personal qualities. Qualifications You hold a degree in social work or have an equivalent bachelor's degree from a university that the employer considers equivalent. You have good knowledge of laws and regulations in the field. You master the Swedish language both in speech and writing. Meritorious is experience working as a social worker handling financial assistance in the near future. Other information Interviews may be conducted before the application deadline has passed. Employment is subject to required decisions being made. For positions where work involves direct and regular contact with children and young people, as well as for activities within LSS, care and social services, health and medical care, psychiatric care, and substance abuse care, a valid extract from the police's criminal record register must be presented or submitted before employment.
