Boden's Parish is seeking an engaged social counselor/process leader for the three-year AMIF-funded project "Together – for sustainable integration" (2026–2029). The project is carried out in collaboration with Malmö and Upplands Väsby and aims to strengthen people's opportunities to participate in society through psychosocial support, community, and increased empowerment.

About the position
As a social counselor and process leader, you meet people who have received residence permits and need support to find their place in Swedish society. You work both individually and in groups, creating meeting places where people have the opportunity to grow, make connections, and find ways forward.
Your responsibilities
Provide psychosocial support and guidance on society to individuals and groups.
Plan and lead meeting places, activities, and group meetings.
Implement knowledge-raising initiatives in areas such as health, civic orientation, and empowerment.
Follow participants as needed in their contacts with authorities and other public services.
Build and develop collaboration with the municipality, SFI, civil society organizations, and other local actors.
Contribute to developing the activities together with participants based on their needs and experiences.
We are looking for someone who
Has relevant higher education within areas such as diaconal studies, social work, behavioral science, or similar.
Has experience in social work and is comfortable meeting people in different life situations.
Is initiative-taking, organized, and has good ability to work independently while also thriving in close collaboration with others.
Is a good communicator with very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Has experience with or interest in intercultural work. Additional language skills are an advantage.
Is accustomed to collaborating with municipalities, authorities, and other societal actors.
