Our mission is growing! The Employment and Social Services Administration in Lund has its own unit dedicated to intimate partner violence. A complete team with specialized expertise to support children and adults who have witnessed violence, victims of violence, and perpetrators. The team consists of both social workers and social pedagogues. Are you interested in joining the team? About the Role and Your Tasks As a social pedagogue, your work tasks will vary greatly from day to day. You will perform practical tasks related to placements, conduct crisis counseling and motivational conversations with both perpetrators and victims of violence. You will provide visitation support to ensure that children can have safe contact with their other parent. Work tasks will vary over time. The unit consists of ten social workers, three social pedagogues, plus a manager and an administrator. You will work closely with social workers and collaborate with many different parties to best meet the needs of children and families. We practice genuine social work, taking time to meet people, listen, and understand how we can contribute to helping people towards change and independence. Our work is characterized by high quality, legal certainty, and we continuously strive to find a balance between good working conditions and work environment. We work with continuous improvements to increase the quality of our work with citizens. To succeed in this, we value well-functioning collaboration with various actors around children, youth, and adults, and we coordinate broadly with schools, police, healthcare, and other parts of the social services. We Are Looking for You We are looking for someone with a social pedagogy degree or equivalent education that the employer deems relevant. Experience working within social services is a merit. We value someone who combines their commitment with a calm demeanor and the ability to prioritize and structure your work. At the same time, you have the readiness to shift focus when the needs of the operation change. You treat people with respect and handle your professional role responsibly, always keeping the best interests of the child in focus. Since the unit is under development, you need to be flexible and comfortable with changing work tasks. A B driver's license is required for this position.
