What We Do and Our Vision Tyresö Gymnasium is in an exciting period with much happening and developing. Last fall, we restarted the social sciences and economics programs with strong enrollment. The school also offers vocational programs (hairdressing, styling, automotive, electrical technology, electrical data, sales and service, and healthcare). Tyresö Gymnasium also has a Resource School, which is an introductory program for students with NPF diagnosis. The school also offers adapted upper secondary education with three programs. Tyresö Gymnasium has many dedicated teachers and is perceived as calm and secure by both teachers and students. About the Position We are now seeking a trained social pedagogue for our Resource School, an introductory program for students with NPF diagnosis who need a small learning environment and an adapted setting to earn upper secondary school eligibility. You will work closely with students in teaching both inside and outside the classroom, becoming an important part of the operation as you support students in their learning and social development. The position also includes mentorship for approximately 15 students, where you will support them in their studies and maintain contact between home, school, and any other contacts necessary for successful schooling for these students. Furthermore, you will participate in planning and implementing social initiatives at the Resource School. The position is permanent with a start as soon as possible and is a temporary placement. Who Are You? You need to have a social pedagogue education and we prefer that you have experience working in schools with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities. The position requires that you have a good ability to understand students' needs from different perspectives and can find solutions for these needs that suit each individual student. Since the position involves significant contact with students and guardians as well as other school staff, you need to have excellent collaboration skills and a flexible working style. You need extensive knowledge in meeting people with neuropsychiatric disabilities. This means you need to have great empathetic ability and be skilled at building good relationships.
