ABOUT THE JOB The Resource School needs you to support young people in school. The Resource School focuses on students with problematic school absenteeism. The Resource School is located at Johan Skyttes School and serves students in grades 4–9 from all of the municipality's primary schools. The goal is for Resource School students to complete primary school with passing grades. Another goal is to prepare students to participate in regular classroom instruction when possible. In your role as a social pedagogue, you will work with students throughout the school day and serve as a resource and conversation support. You will be part of a working team for consultation and planning. You will also maintain close contact with guardians. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for someone with a degree in social pedagogy, social work, or equivalent education. Experience working with children with special needs and knowledge of NPF are merits. You see the positive in every individual student and are convinced that everyone can learn with the right conditions. You should be able to motivate and prepare students for today's challenges and challenge them to believe in themselves and strengthen their self-esteem. As a social pedagogue, you will work closely with students and guardians. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and who is confident and clear in your professional role with students, guardians, and colleagues.
