Together with other staff members, you work toward the goal of making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide in areas such as personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. As a social pedagogue with us, you have an important role in the daily work with our service users. You contribute to creating a safe, meaningful, and sustainable everyday life where each individual is given the opportunity to grow and develop according to their own conditions. You plan, implement, and follow up support measures based on implementation plans and individual goals. You document according to applicable guidelines and actively participate in the organization's quality work through reflection, collaboration, and pedagogical interventions. The assignment also includes handling and administering medication under delegation from a licensed nurse, in accordance with applicable procedures and patient safety regulations. The work involves irregular working hours – days, evenings, and weekends. About Opplunda HVB The facility is located in newly renovated and nature-close premises in Älby, Björklinge. Älby is approximately two miles north of Uppsala and offers a calm, rural, and beautiful environment with proximity to forests, lakes, and open fields. The peaceful surroundings create excellent conditions for recovery, walks, and nature-based activities – a safe place for both service users and staff.
