Social Pedagogue at Åkraskolan

We are now seeking two social pedagogues with placement within the Åkraskolan principal's area. We offer you an exciting and responsible assignment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our students. About the Workplace We are a multicultural F-6 school in Sala with approximately 475 students and approximately 65 staff members. The school is newly built and located in central Sala, making it easy for you to reach us by both car and public transportation. Work Tasks As a social pedagogue at our school, you work closely with both the school counselor and school management. You will work in Studion together with other social pedagogues. You work with individual students and with value-based work in classes and groups. Your work is guided by the needs we identify in our students. We focus on the development of our students where we collectively take responsibility for all our students' goal fulfillment. Our workplace is characterized by care, commitment, and a strong desire to develop through collaboration. Qualifications We are seeking you who are trained as a social pedagogue. For us, it is important that you have a positive view of the assignment, good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in working at a multicultural school. That you work goal-oriented and have good structure in your work is an important part of your assignment. You always strive to develop both yourself and the environment in which you work together with your work team and other staff. You work consciously to ensure that all students feel involved, safe, and reach set goals. We see that you have a solution and results-oriented approach and that you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. We prefer that you have experience working in an F-6 school. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
