The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. Do you want to be part of developing future support for people with substance abuse and addiction? We are looking for a committed and development-oriented social pedagogue who wants to contribute to people's recovery and change. With us, you will work in an operation that is in an exciting development phase where the focus is gradually shifting from treatment to a broader range of psychosocial support services. About the operation Our outpatient care is aimed at people with substance abuse and addiction. We also receive people involved in crime as well as family members. The operation currently offers individual support, group activities, recovery-oriented services, and treatment. We also have a well-functioning employment operation with studios where clients work with creative forms of expression as part of their recovery. An important part of the operation is also nature- and recovery-oriented activities through the method "Hang Out With Us," which aims to strengthen health, community, and well-being through time in nature. Over the coming years, the operation will develop and expand psychosocial services further. At the same time, treatment will continue to be conducted during a transition period before the comorbidity reform takes effect on January 1, 2028. The reform means that responsibility for treating substance abuse and addiction will gradually be transferred to the regions, while the social service's task will increasingly focus on psychosocial support, housing, employment, and recovery. As a social pedagogue with us, you will: - Provide individual support to people with substance abuse and addiction. - Motivate and support individuals in change and recovery processes. - Lead and manage groups. Hold open lectures, information meetings, and themed days. - Participate in the development of new psychosocial services. - Contribute to the operation's work with employment, recovery, and participation. - Collaborate with internal and external actors. About you - Social pedagogue degree, minimum 2 years from folk high school or vocational school - Documented education and experience in MI (Motivational Interviewing) Meritorious requirements: - Documented education and experience in CBT as a method. - Documented education and experience in CRA as a method. - Documented education and experience in addiction science. - Documented education and experience in the twelve-step method. To succeed in this role, you need to be confident, stable, and clear in your interactions with clients. You have a respectful and professional approach and find it easy to build relationships while maintaining clear boundaries. You are resourceful and creative and enjoy independently planning and conducting activities.
