We have the resources of a large school and the security and care of a small school. With two classes in each grade level, we have good collaboration between the classes and our four after-school centers. There is a large school yard with spaces for various activities in different environments. We have access to a large, fine sports hall, indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor swimming area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to work close to students and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and meaningful school day? We are now looking for a committed social pedagogue who wants to strengthen students' social and emotional development. As a social pedagogue with us, you work practically and relationally with students. You are there in daily life, providing support, guidance, and creating conditions for each student to succeed. In your role as a social pedagogue, you actively work to prevent conflicts and strengthen positive relationships among students. You are present during the school day and provide support both to individual students and in groups, in the classroom, during transitions between lessons, and during breaks. An important part of the work is to plan and conduct break-time activities that create participation and community based on students' different needs and circumstances. You work to promote attendance and support students who have difficulties related to, for example, social situations, conflicts, or school absence. Your assignment also includes contributing to the safety-building work in the school and maintaining continuous and trusted contact with guardians. Together with colleagues, you help develop methods that strengthen students' social development and school attendance. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Education as a social pedagogue • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a school environment • Knowledge of low-arousal approaches • Experience with conflict management • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious • Experience planning and leading group activities • Knowledge of equality and diversity in school Who are you?
