Social Worker/Social Work Leader

You may have been working in social or addiction services for some time and are thinking about where to take your career next. You don't need years of experience in a leadership position. We're primarily looking for someone who understands working with people, has professional expertise, can take on responsibility, and wants to help shape how the service operates and develops further. It's work that combines people management, professional practice—direct work with clients—service development, and client engagement. Who are we looking for? Someone who has: o at least post-secondary professional education that meets the requirements for professional work in social services, o education particularly in the fields of social work, addiction studies, special education, or a related relevant field, o experience from social, addiction-related, or similar services, o good knowledge of addiction issues and harm reduction, o the ability to organize work, make decisions, and take responsibility, o good communication skills, o a respectful approach to people who use addictive substances, o the capacity for self-reflection and a desire to continue growing professionally. Experience in managing people is an advantage, not a requirement. Position: 1.0 FTE Salary: 49,000 - 55,000 Kč (depending on education achieved and length of experience) Work location: Plzeň, South Suburb Start date: immediately/by agreement What will you be responsible for? You will professionally and organizationally lead the Contact Center and its team. You will have the opportunity to influence the shape of the service, its quality, and its future direction. Specifically, you will: o lead and support the team of workers, o ensure the professional level, quality, and development of the service, o participate in creating methodologies, rules, and the service concept, o engage in direct work with clients, o coordinate project implementation and prepare their professional components and reports, o ensure documentation, statistics, and compliance with standards, o represent the Contact Center externally and collaborate with other services, institutions, and professional partners.
