We are looking for a new colleague for the position of social worker or social services worker at the low-threshold center for children and youth Wellmez in Velké Meziříčí. What do we do at Wellmez? We provide support to children and adolescents aged 8-26 who find themselves in situations where they have no one to help them. For our users, we create a safe environment where they can confidentially share their problems, spend their free time, and build new relationships. What is the job description of a social worker? - social work with users at the club (in the facility premises) or in the field (on the streets of the city) - communication with service seekers - provision of counseling and support in problem solving - maintaining records of service provision - cooperation with other organizations and entities (schools, OSPOD, SVP, Police...) - preparation of leisure activities and preventive programs for users - cooperation in methodology review and service development Where? in Velké Meziříčí, on Hornoměstská street No. 366/41 (next to Billy) When? start date by mutual agreement What do we offer? - employment contract for full-time, part-time position, or work performance agreement - dynamic, meaningful, and creative work - assurance that you won't be bored at work - training and ongoing support from experienced colleagues - quality continuous education, regular supervision - employee benefits (meal card, one extra week of vacation, additional one-time financial and non-financial benefits) - backing of a stable organization where its employees are important We are looking for a colleague who - has the education required for the position of social worker or social services worker, or will complete their studies/qualification course within 12 months, - is able to work in afternoon hours, - is full of energy and enthusiasm for working with children and young adolescents, and will also support them in solving their problems, - has vaccination against hepatitis B, or will get it before starting, - has a clean criminal record.
