GENERAL PETERIS RADZIŅŠ PROFESSIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOL announces a vacancy for the position of SOCIAL PEDAGOGUE General Peteris Radziņš Professional Secondary School is a state-funded educational institution under the Ministry of Defense, with the primary mission of implementing professional education programs. To learn more about us, visit: https://www.radzinaskola.lv/lv We Offer the opportunity to perform responsible and interesting work in a modern educational institution; work location: Skolas iela 5, Malta, Maltas pagasts, Rēzeknes novads; the opportunity to work in a team of knowledgeable professionals; employment for an indefinite period; 0.25 workload (part-time); monthly salary (gross) starting from 375 euro; Key Responsibilities diagnose socialization difficulties in youth; assess the impact of existing social risks on a student's full integration into society and acquisition of social skills; identify families' social and economic problems and their impact on students' social quality of life; determine the degree of risk factors present in the family, school, and peer environment and their impact on communication processes; collect data on students' socialization conditions, quality of socialization processes, and risk factors in school and family; analyze the observance of students' rights in families, educational institutions, and other socialization institutions; if necessary, conduct home visits to address existing problems; determine students' life skills level; plan and implement specific socio-pedagogical activities to protect students' rights; conduct socio-pedagogical activities in the educational institution; carry out specific activities in students' leisure time to reduce (prevent) existing risk factors, involving competent cooperation partners in problem-solving; plan and implement social rehabilitation measures for students after classes, develop and implement students' social correction programs; promote the provision of students' social needs; develop and implement individual behavioral correction programs. Requirements for Candidates second-level professional higher bachelor's education with a qualification as a social pedagogue; previous experience in the position of social pedagogue; ability to plan and organize work, excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to develop research descriptions in accordance with scientific article principles; user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; sense of responsibility and precision.
