Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība, Reg. No. 90000035590, announces an open competition for a vacant Social Pedagogue position at Vārmes Primary School for an indefinite period.

- Salary according to Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 445 "Teachers' Remuneration Regulations", monthly salary 1175,00 EUR per month before taxes

Main job responsibilities:
- Diagnose socialization difficulties of children and youth and the impact of existing social risks on their full integration into society and acquisition of social skills
- Collect data on the socialization conditions and risk factors of children and youth at school and in the family
- Evaluate the socio-pedagogical opportunities of educational, extracurricular, preschool, and other educational institutions in implementing resocialization programs
- Plan and implement social rehabilitation measures for children and youth outside school hours and free time
- In cooperation with social services, guardianship courts, and other state and local government institutions, promote the provision of social needs of children and youth
- Cooperate with subject teachers, class tutors, educational institution support personnel (speech therapist, nurse), and management
- Ensure the safety of students and compliance with the internal regulations of the educational institution
- Other duties in accordance with the job description
Requirements for candidates:
- Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Teachers and the Procedure for Teachers' Professional Competence Development"
- Compliance with the requirements of Article 72 of the Child Protection Law
- Responsibility, initiative, and independence in fulfilling job duties
- State language proficiency at the highest level
- Professional communication with children, parents, and colleagues
