Social Worker - Group Support Services (2635 11)
Primary job responsibilities:
Organize and lead support groups for children, youth, and adults;
Consult with clients about available types of support;
Provide educational, informational, and personal development support related to effective child care and parenting practices in problem situations, and help acquire and reinforce new behavioral models;
Assist youth in developing the ability to solve personal, interpersonal, and social problems by enhancing personal and social competencies through various types of support services, social services, and individual support;
Provide support to youth in developing and achieving their personal goals, promoting social inclusion and improved quality of life;
Foster positive mutual relationships between parents and children;
Ensure the development of the client's social support network;
Requirements for candidates:
Secondary-level professional or academic higher education in social work or charitable social work;
Knowledge and ability to apply regulatory acts governing the social field;
Ability to independently organize work and make decisions (including in non-standard situations);
Ability to work in a team, creative approach, high accuracy and professionalism in dealing with people;
Good communication skills and accuracy;
Good skills in working with computer programs (MS Office standard applications and the municipal social benefits administration information system (SOPA));
Training certificates in support group facilitation, such as "Guide to Raising Adolescents", "Child Emotional Education", "How to Set Boundaries for Children with Love and Respect", risk assessment for families with children in unfavorable circumstances, and Child Rights Protection will be taken into consideration;
Desired experience in leading support groups and working with youth;
Category B driving license.
