Aizkraukles novada Sociālais dienests Registration No: 40900012011 invites applications for an indefinite-term Social Worker position in the Social Work and Social Services Department Number of vacancies: 1 (one position) Monthly salary – 1326 euro. Work location: Daugavas iela 1, Aizkraukle, Aizkraukles nov. / Rīgas iela 1, Nereta, Neretas pag., Aizkraukles nov. Key responsibilities: Perform social work with adults and groups of persons, assessing their needs for social services, resources, and support systems; Provide clients with information about opportunities to receive social services and social assistance in accordance with municipal regulations; Assess and provide social services, including home care, long-term and short-term institutional care services, day care center services, group housing/boarding services, and transportation services; Develop social rehabilitation plans for overcoming crisis situations and provide social rehabilitation services, including to adults who are victims of violence and those who have committed violence; Organize the provision of social services in accordance with a person's individual needs and coordinate cooperation with involved specialists; Visit clients at their place of residence and conduct assessments of daily activities and the living environment, including completing assessment questionnaires in accordance with regulatory requirements; Prepare decisions and referrals regarding the provision or denial of services, and ensure data processing in state and municipal databases; Enter provided services into the information system SOPA, update information, and assess changes in the client's situation; Create and maintain client files in electronic and/or paper form, ensuring documentation recording, archiving, and data protection in accordance with regulatory requirements. Requirements for candidates: Education – second-cycle higher education in social work; Ability to understand and apply regulatory acts in work; Capacity to make independent decisions within one's area of competence; Good computer and office equipment skills; Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people; State language proficiency at an advanced level; Accuracy, ability to acquire new information and manage large amounts of information; Category B driving license (preferred).
