Tukuma Municipality Public Institution "Tukuma Municipality Social Services" (reg. no. 40900035315) announces an open competition for the position of social care worker (permanent position) at the Children and Youth Center "SAPŅi-2", Dārzniecības Street 2A, Tukums, Tukuma Municipality (4 positions): Requirements for candidates: short-cycle professional higher education (level 1 higher education) with a qualification as social care worker/social rehabilitation specialist; good computer skills, preferably with information systems and programs; and other office equipment (scanner, copier); understanding of child and youth development stages, abilities, skills and behavior; ability to plan, manage and organize your work, express your opinion clearly and argumentatively; high sense of responsibility, ability to make independent decisions; excellent communication and cooperation skills; empathy in interactions; work experience with children and youth will be considered an advantage; category B driver's license. Main job responsibilities: participate in the development of social care and social rehabilitation plans for center clients and assess the effectiveness of implementation; facilitate the restoration and improvement of clients' social functioning abilities; provide social skills training sessions for center clients; assist clients in acquiring, developing and maintaining social skills (self-care, ethical and behavioral norms, social roles, interaction and communication, decision-making, responsibility-taking, financial management skills, etc.); plan and organize daily activities for clients; organize group classes for clients. We offer: work in a dynamic organization; salary from EUR 970.00 to 1089.00 per month (according to candidate's qualifications and professional experience), before tax, within the framework of averaged working time based on shift schedule; 50% supplement for night work; 100% supplement for work on public holidays; health insurance (with co-payment) after probation period, employer-financed accident insurance from the first day of work; social guarantees.
