Ādažu Municipality invites applications for a Social Care Worker position to work with individuals with mental health disorders at the Day Care and Rehabilitation Center "Ādažu Ūdensroze" in Ādaži on an indefinite basis. Main Responsibilities: Participate in developing and evaluating the effectiveness of social care and social rehabilitation plans for DC clients. Promote and enhance the social functioning abilities of DC clients. Facilitate social activation of DC clients and mobilization of internal resources to improve quality of life. Promote DC clients' understanding of available social services and their usage opportunities. Participate in organizing cultural and entertainment events for DC center clients. Organize and conduct classes for DC center clients. Collaborate with the DC social rehabilitation interdisciplinary team. Perform individual companion duties for DC clients with mobility and mental health disorders. Within the scope of competence, provide consultations to DC clients and their family members on social matters. Document essential information in DC client files regarding the progress of social care and rehabilitation processes. Act according to the principle of social justice, without discrimination, and respecting confidentiality. Fulfill other tasks and instructions from the DC manager. Requirements for Candidates: Level 1 higher education with a qualification as a Social Care Worker or Social Rehabilitator. Experience as a social care worker or in a similar position, minimum one year. Excellent knowledge of the state language and desirable knowledge of foreign languages. Ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. Sense of responsibility, discipline, precision, ability to speak publicly and justify decisions or actions taken. Ability to independently plan work execution within set deadlines and perform work independently. Communication skills, ability to understand, listen to others, analyze and resolve conflict situations, maintain confidentiality and tolerance.
