JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Social Studies teacher at the secondary level with us, you play a crucial role in awakening students' interest and understanding of our world in the past, present, and future. We value teaching that engages, challenges, and sparks curiosity, where students develop their analytical skills and reflect on their world.
At our school, we actively work with lesson design, explicit instruction, and language-strengthening approaches. We see it as a given that we adapt teaching to students' needs to create an inclusive learning environment. You'll have the opportunity to influence and shape instruction and will be part of a strong subject team and work team, where collaboration and collegial learning are important parts of the work.
The position also includes mentoring, where you support and guide students in their school journey together with a colleague. We're looking for a teacher who not only teaches but creates meaningful learning situations, uses varied teaching methods, and integrates digital tools in a pedagogically sound way.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for you who are qualified and certified as a Social Studies teacher for secondary level. If you have experience with lesson design, explicit instruction, and language-strengthening approaches, we see that as a merit.
