You will join the Veteran Carpentry team, which consists of 6 people. Work is usually done in pairs, though individual assignments with both companies and private clients can occur. All work has a clear description. Assignments are distributed based on interest and geography, either by phone or at breakfast meetings where we present new assignments and clients. Your direct supervisor will be Michell, one of the company's project managers. As a Veteran Carpenter, you will, among other things: Initiate contact with the customer and project manager to confirm the work description with the customer, and provide feedback to the customer and work supervisor regarding time spent, work completed, and any issues and actions taken. Procure materials and tools as needed based on estimated material requirements. Execute carpentry assignments according to all carpentry standards and best practices. Responsibilities: You are responsible for ensuring work is completed professionally, for continuously coordinating with the customer and work supervisor, and for providing excellent service to our customers. Desired Profile: Solid experience with professionally executed carpentry work Class B driver's license and access to a vehicle Willing to work part-time on intermittent assignments We are looking for someone who is: Experienced and wants to continue working part-time. Meticulous, as it is important that customer work is completed professionally and that our procedures regarding work descriptions/checklists are followed. You are cheerful and bring positive energy to customers and colleagues, and you enjoy providing service to others. You have patience with elderly people who may have, for example, declining vision and hearing. You are the face of Veterangig to the outside world.
