Then we are looking for you. The position of shift supervisor in our company is a job on afternoon and night shifts. It is machine manufacturing where you will be responsible for a team of machinists, mechanics, and welders. As a shift supervisor, in addition to organizing work, overseeing employees, and ensuring responsible completion of their tasks, you will also occasionally transport parts, and handle loading and unloading of materials. An integral part of your activities will be monitoring attendance, communicating with machine maintenance, and overseeing the smooth operation of production during your shift. What you will be part of: You will meet daily with your assigned team on the shift, communicate with supervisors of individual departments and the production manager. You will also communicate with maintenance and resolve any malfunctions and urgent operational issues with them. What you should be able to do: We are looking for a supervisor with good communication skills who can understand and subsequently convey assigned tasks and information. You are able to handle emerging situations operatively, efficiently, and calmly. You know how to deal with people and are not afraid of working in a diverse team.
