Would you like to work at a personalized small animal clinic with varied patient cases, close collaboration, and the opportunity to develop within your areas of interest? We are looking for a veterinarian who wants to join our team at Cityveterinärerna in Lund.
Cityveterinärerna in Lund is a private, independently owned small animal clinic operated by a veterinarian. The clinic was founded in 2005 and currently consists of about ten employees with varying experience and areas of expertise.
We work with preventive care, medical diagnostics, surgery, and dental care, primarily for dogs and cats. The clinic features six examination rooms, X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dental department, gas anesthesia, two operating rooms, and separate care wards for dogs and cats. We also collaborate with specialists in orthopedics, dentistry, ultrasound, and cardiology.
The clinic is located in newly renovated, bright facilities on Dalbyvägen in Lund, close to public transport and the E22. Here you'll find a separate staff area and a balcony where we enjoy taking breaks together.
For us, quality, precision, and personal service are central. We take time to examine, listen, and explain, and we work together to provide each patient with safe and well-considered care.
With us, you get varied clinical work that we can adapt to some extent based on your experience and areas of interest.
You have the opportunity to develop your skills, deepen your knowledge in areas that interest you, and contribute to the clinic's continued development. We value open collaboration where we discuss patient cases, share knowledge, and help one another.
Work is conducted on weekdays. No on-call duty or weekend service is required.
We are primarily looking for you who:
-Is a licensed veterinarian.
-Has at least a few years of clinical experience, preferably from an animal hospital or a larger small animal clinic.
-Has broad clinical competence and a wide veterinary medical interest.
-Is confident in independent assessments and medical diagnostics.
-Enjoys collaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
-Treats animal owners with clarity, attentiveness, and respect.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and would like you to describe which areas you particularly wish to work with and develop within.
This is a permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period.
The position can be full-time or part-time. Start date by agreement.
We apply collective agreements.
Welcome to send your application to operations manager Kajsa-Lisa Nystrand at [email protected].
Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
Warm welcome to Cityveterinärerna in Lund!
