WORK TASKS
What does the role involve?
This is an opportunity to develop in a specialized profession where technology, precision, and craftsmanship meet.
To our grinding department at Vida Bruza in Hjältevad, we are now looking for you who wants to work in an important function for the sawmill's quality and operations. Here we sharpen tools and bandsaw blades, both for Vida's own sawmills and for external customers.
As a grinder, you become part of a knowledgeable and helpful team where accuracy and responsibility are central. The work is practical, varied, and largely independent, with good opportunities to build up sought-after specialist expertise.
You work close to production and contribute directly to high quality and stable operations. When tools are properly sharpened, the entire process works better. With us, you get rewarding work in a secure operation characterized by quality, order, collaboration, and pride.
The position involves working in a 2-shift schedule.

Who are you?
You don't need to know the trade from the start – we will train you. The most important thing is that you are thorough, practically minded, and like to do things properly.
You probably work today in industry, workshop, maintenance, or the timber industry and are now keen to develop in a more specialized role. You enjoy responsibility, like solving practical problems, and see the value in working with precision.
