About the Role Securitas in Piteå is now seeking security guards for an assignment to protect a mission-critical facility for Sweden. This is a role for someone who is not just looking for a job – but is ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our nation's prosperity and security. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you have a crucial role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with expanded authority, often in close cooperation with our clients. The work is varied and may include both stationary surveillance, mobile patrols, and access control. You will need to make independent decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the ability to stay calm when others don't – and is loyal to Swedish interests. Security surveillance is conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. As a security guard in this position, you work all hours of the day. The work is both team-based and independent and requires great responsibility. Shift lengths vary, but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts according to a rotating schedule. Since we operate a facility that is active every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend. The position includes, among other things: Protecting mission-critical facilities from robbery, unauthorized access, and other threats Conducting inspections according to applicable regulations and instructions Cooperating with personnel and authorities on security matters We are security. Job Requirements Specific Required Requirements: Have passing grades in Swedish from upper secondary school Class B driver's license and own car to travel to and from work Swedish citizenship Meriting Qualifications if you also have: Civil or military security guard training; if you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. Security guard training, as well as GMU, must be completed in 2016 or later and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application Completed security officer training, VU1 and VU2 Previous experience working with protection of security objects, other surveillance, or security work Completed HAS training Have passing grades in English from upper secondary school We are looking for a person with integrity, maturity, and the ability to take responsibility – for both their own safety and others'.
