Job Description Securitas is now recruiting security guards for assignments protecting critical infrastructure for Sweden. This is a position for someone who is not just looking for a job – but is ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our nation's supply and security. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. We are now seeking four security guards for our operations: Two security guards, full-time, daytime shift Two security guards, full-time, nighttime shift As a security guard, you play a crucial role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with expanded authority, often in close collaboration with our clients. The work is varied and may include both stationary and mobile surveillance, access control checks, or work in the surveillance center. You will need to make independent decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can remain calm when others cannot – and is loyal to Swedish interests. You are a central part of the security work within a protected facility with high standards. You work to prevent and handle security threats such as sabotage, espionage, and terrorism. The role requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to act quickly in critical situations. Security guard surveillance is conducted in an airport environment, both indoors and outdoors, day and night. Shift lengths vary, but are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts according to a rotating schedule. Since we operate in a facility that runs every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend. Your duties include: Patrolling and monitoring the protected facility to detect deviations and suspicious activities Handling incidents and alarms in cooperation with the police Performing inspections according to applicable regulations and instructions Cooperating with personnel and authorities on security matters We are security. Requirements Specification Requirements: You must be a trained civilian or military security guard Have passing grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English Class B driver's license Requirements regarding military security guard training: If you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. Meritorious if you also have: Previous experience working with protection of security facilities, other surveillance, or security work Speak multiple languages Previous experience in airport security or work at an airport We are looking for a person with integrity, maturity, and the ability to take responsibility – both for your own safety and that of others. You have a natural aptitude for structure and order, and a vigilance that others can rely on. Security Vetting Please note that this position is classified and requires you to undergo a security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any potential vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidance. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability. Where applicable, equivalent checks may be conducted of anyone you live with or have a similar relationship with. To be considered for the position, you must therefore (at minimum): You/your household do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, e.g., suspicion register, criminal record register, etc. You/your household have orderly finances; no payment defaults, unsettled debts, and do not appear with collection agencies or the Enforcement Service You must also pass a weapons training course with a passing shooting test This is not an ordinary job - it is a mission in service of society.
