About the Role Securitas is now seeking security guards for assignments protecting vital operations for Sweden. This is an assignment for you who is not just looking for a job – but is ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's livelihood and security. It is about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you have a crucial role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with extended authority, often in close cooperation with our clients. The work is varied and can include both stationary and mobile surveillance, access control, or work in a security control center. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has the ability to stay calm when others do not – and is loyal to Swedish interests. Security guard surveillance is conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. The length of work shifts varies, but is often arranged in 12-hour shifts according to a rotating schedule. In this position, you will work mainly daytime on weekdays, Monday to Friday, and need to be available to work during these times. Since operations run around the clock, there may also be a need to work evenings, nights, and weekends. This position involves, among other things: Protecting vital operations from unauthorized access and other threats Performing inspections according to applicable regulations and instructions Collaborating with personnel and authorities on security matters We are security. Requirements Specification To be eligible for this position, we see that you meet the following requirements: Approved grades in Swedish from upper secondary school Swedish citizenship Class B driver's license Meritorious if you also have: Civil or military security guard training; if you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training and GMU must be completed in 2016 or later and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application Complete security officer training. HAS training (Handling of firearms) Previous experience working with protection of secure facilities, other surveillance, or security work. Security Vetting Note that the position is classified as a security position and means that you will undergo a security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidelines. Information collected can come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment of you, your life situation, and financial conditions when evaluating your suitability. If applicable, a corresponding check can be done of the person you live with, or have a similar relationship with. To be eligible for the position, you therefore need to (at minimum): You/you do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, such as suspicion register, criminal record, etc. You/you have orderly finances; do not have payment remarks, unresolved debts, appear with collection agencies or the Enforcement Service This is not an ordinary job - it is an assignment in service of society.
