Job Description Securitas is now recruiting security guards for assignments protecting critical infrastructure for Sweden. This is a role for someone who is not just looking for a job – but is ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's supply and security. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you play a crucial role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with extended authority, often in close collaboration with our clients. The work is varied and can include both stationary and mobile surveillance, access control, or work in a security control center. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the ability to stay calm when others don't – and is loyal to Swedish interests. Work shifts vary in length but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Since we operate a facility that runs every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend. Requirement Specification To be hired, you need to meet certain basic requirements. You must have approved high school grades in Swedish, Swedish 1. Since the role involves driving, you also need a category B driver's license. We prefer that you already have a valid civilian or military security guard training certificate. If you have completed training within the Swedish Armed Forces, for example as part of basic training (GMU), it can be validated for civilian use. Note that security guard training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. But for the right person, we will provide training if needed. Specific Requirements: Approved grades in Swedish and English from high school (Swedish 1 and English 5 or equivalent) Category B driver's license A passed security interview We are looking for a person with integrity, maturity, and the ability to take responsibility – for both your own and others' safety. You have a natural aptitude for structure and order, and an alertness that others can trust. Security Clearance Please note that this position is classified as a security role and requires you to undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any potential vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidelines. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or public authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment of you, your life situation, and financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability. If applicable, equivalent checks may be conducted on anyone you live with or have a similar relationship with.
