Protection Consultant Temporary Staff

Amplius Omsorg is a care chain primarily focused on qualified assessment and treatment for children with or without parents. We also work with protected housing, outpatient care, and foster care. We are now seeking temporary staff for our team. You will be part of an exciting journey and help shape our operations together with us. About Amplius Protected Housing Amplius protected housing is designed for women and families with children aged 0-17 who have been subjected to intimate partner violence or honor-based violence and oppression. Everyone living with us receives support in the form of protection, practical assistance with government agency contacts, support conversations/child conversations, and other practical everyday support. The goal is to offer as normal and functional a daily life as possible in a vulnerable situation. Our housing options are located in southern Sweden and we offer accommodation in private apartments or in collective housing. The operations are conducted with a license from IVO. About the Role As a temporary staff member, you will meet children and adults based on their specific situation with a focus on protection. The work requires you to be a trustworthy person who, with great empathy and commitment, helps create calm and security both practically and emotionally. You need to be able to build a close and good relationship and be attentive to our residents' needs and understanding of their vulnerable situation. We work on behalf of social services, which includes conducting continuous risk and safety assessments and security planning. We work based on a quality management system with associated routines and policies where we systematically evaluate and improve our work. Collaboration with social services, other authorities, and operations is central to us. The work is varied and no two days are alike. You help out in the operation where needed and support our protection consultants. Your work will primarily be practical in nature, such as accompanying a resident to the bank, helping to solve everyday problems that may arise, or preparing a housing unit before move-in. Some social documentation occurs in the position. Tasks are carried out mainly in the homes/residences of our residents, but can also be performed at the Amplius office. The work also includes picking up and dropping off people who move in or out with us. Working hours are weekday daytime, but evening work may sometimes occur based on operational needs such as pick-ups/drop-offs. You need to be available for work at least 5 hours/week on average or based on operational needs. About You We are primarily looking for those studying to be a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or who have studied at least 4 terms in a social work program. It is a merit if you have worked with intimate partner violence and/or honor-based violence and oppression, preferably in direct client contact. As temporary staff at protected housing, you need to be trustworthy, stable, and unpretentious. You have the ability to build good working relationships and find it easy to build relationships with those who live with us. You are solution-focused, flexible, and adapt easily to the changing conditions we have in our work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your knowledge of Swedish and English is good. Additional language skills are a merit, as is knowledge of social documentation. We expect you to have good computer skills. A driver's license for a passenger car (category B) is a requirement.
