About the Company Bröllopsbruket sells modern second-hand and new bridal dresses in beautifully decorated showrooms in Västerås, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping, and Umeå. A wedding dress should be tried on in an environment with knowledgeable staff, perhaps accompanied by a glass of champagne, with space for accompanying guests if desired. Bröllopsbruket is Sweden's largest meeting place for brides-to-be and offers both pre-owned and new wedding dresses. Our Malmö store has been in operation since 2020. We are currently seeking staff for our store. Your Responsibilities As a tailor at Bröllopsbruket, you help our customers with sewing alterations so that the wedding dress fits perfectly on the big day. You meet customers during fittings and maintain dialogue throughout the entire process. You also work on various repairs for second-hand wedding dresses that are brought in. Additionally, you often provide cost estimates for alterations and repairs to our customers. Beyond that, your role will also include welcoming and assisting our brides-to-be during their appointments to find their dress. You are responsible for keeping the store in excellent condition for each customer and answering questions via phone and email. A portion of your work will also involve receiving new bridal dresses at the store, unpacking them, and photographing them for our social media. This position is a full-time role with the possibility of flexibility during slower periods. Your Profile We are looking for someone with plenty of energy, warmth, and the ability to make people feel welcome and at ease. You are passionate about fashion and it is a requirement that you have previous experience as a tailor and feel confident taking on the task of altering wedding dresses. Beyond that, you are committed to maintaining high service standards and go the extra mile for every customer. You will often work alone in the store, so it is crucial that you are an independent person who takes great responsibility for your work. Since this position involves extensive communication, fluent Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement.
