The residence is divided between a main building and an annex with apartments for gradual transition. We are located beautifully on the outskirts of Edebo in Roslagen, Norrtälje Municipality, approximately 3.5 miles from Norrtälje. You can reach us by bus or car. We have provided psychiatric care since 1977. We thus have extensive experience working with people in need of psychiatric and social care. Since 2006, we have specialized in support and care for people with dual diagnoses (comorbidities). We work with contact persons (KP). As a contact person, you are responsible for planning and follow-up of residents' services based on an implementation plan. Daily planning is conducted for activities of daily living, activities, transportation, and motivational conversations. In treatment work, we primarily apply the MI method. The conversation method aims to promote motivation and behavioral change. We place great emphasis on respectful treatment and use the Low-Arousal Approach, which is based on a humanistic view of people. This means that people who may easily become emotionally dysregulated can maintain self-control regardless of the situation. Education/Experience you have completed a nursing program, psychiatric care assistant training, or equivalent documented healthcare or educational training. B-class driver's license is a requirement to unrestrainedly, for example, transport residents to activities, work, or medical appointments, etc., regardless of distance. you need basic computer skills. Digital journal system and email are your most important work tools alongside contact with residents. You are not expected to know the system beforehand, but you need to learn it quickly. it is advantageous if you have work experience with this target group. it is advantageous if you have MI training.
