Job Responsibilities As a caregiver at our Department 97, you work together with other professionals to provide patients with safe and person-centered care. You are responsible, together with your colleagues, for nursing care, supervision, and support for patients during their hospital stay. We work with active case management and you are part of a care team with a nurse overseeing a number of patients. Your work includes nursing care, supportive conversations, observations, and documentation. You will also have your own areas of responsibility and contribute actively to the department's development efforts. About the Workplace Department 97 is a general psychiatric care unit that primarily treats young adults with mental health issues. The department has eleven care beds as well as two beds for voluntary admission. Voluntary admission is part of a crisis management strategy where patients, through an agreement with the department, can seek inpatient care directly when needed. The purpose is to reduce the need for acute interventions, involuntary care, and long hospital stays, as well as to strengthen patient participation and control over their own care and daily life. The department has strong expertise in eating disorders and close collaboration with the eating disorders unit. We work with case management and establish care plans in consultation with the patient, family, and outpatient care. Patients receive care both under voluntary admission and under the Mental Health Care Act. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience working in psychiatric care, current experience with motivational interviewing (MI), and knowledge of the Cosmic journal system. As a person, you are confident and stable with good self-awareness and a professional approach. You collaborate well with others, have good empathetic ability and service-oriented communication. You communicate clearly and contribute to good cooperation in the work group. Employment Terms 2 positions on a full-time basis. 1 permanent position and 1 temporary assignment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
